FAQs

Is overtime taxed more?

No โ€” it's taxed at your normal rates, but extra pay can push you into a higher band, so the keep-rate on overtime is often lower than on your base pay.

What multiplier should I use?

Time-and-a-half is 1.5, double time is 2. Use whatever your contract states.
