Bank statement analysis
Drop in one or more bank or credit-card statements and PayGlance reads every transaction, sorts your money in and out by category, tracks the running balance and shows where it actually goes โ by category, subscription, fees and month by month. Statements only: no receipt pile, no reconciliation.
Try the demo first with a sample statement โ no sign-up.
Who it's for
Anyone who wants their statements made sense of: individuals budgeting or pulling statements together for a mortgage or visa; sole traders and micro-businesses wanting a quick income-and-outgoings picture; and accountants taking a fast first look at a client's account.
How it works
A CSV export is read directly โ no AI step, so it is near-instant and practically free. A PDF or photo is read with AI and normalised across bank formats. Every transaction is categorised (income, transfers, bills, subscriptions, tax, fees, cash, general spending) with the uncertain ones flagged for a quick check, and the categories are yours to edit.
What you get
Total in, out and net movement; opening and closing balance; a month-by-month breakdown; totals by category; the recurring payments and subscriptions it spots; and a flags view for fees, large or unusual items, possible duplicates and any gap that hints at a missing statement. Export the lot as CSV (the full Excel workbook follows).
Multi-currency, any country
The analysis is generic and the categories are universal, so it works on statements from any country and is multi-currency aware.
Your privacy
Statements are processed transiently and not stored, uploads sit behind a login, and keys stay server-side. The output is for information, not financial advice.
